What should I wear for my senior pictures?
We usually recommend pastels and light, warm tones, without logos or stripes. Of course, everyone has their own style! We’ve photographed plenty of people wearing black, too. These are just suggestions, so feel free to choose something that feels like you.
Can I wear more than one outfit?
Yes! For two outfits, we recommend booking a session of at least 30 minutes so there’s time for a quick change.
Where can I change outfits in Cinque Terre?
Keep in mind that Cinque Terre doesn’t have public changing rooms. There are a few quieter corners where a quick outfit change may be possible, or you could ask to use a café’s restroom. Early morning is usually the quietest time, so if privacy is a priority, that’s the best option!
How much time should I book for a senior photo shoot in Cinque Terre?
It depends on how much variety you’d like in your backgrounds. There’s no fixed number of locations we can cover during a session: a lot depends on how comfortable you feel in front of the camera and the time of year. Absolutely! We’re happy to guide you with poses and simple suggestions, especially if this is your first photo shoot. If you already feel comfortable in front of the camera and prefer to move and pose naturally, we’re happy to follow your lead, too. Either way, we’ll take you to beautiful locations and help you bring home senior pictures you’ll love.
Which village do you recommend for senior pictures in Cinque Terre?
Each village has its own character, but choosing a location is easier if you think about the kind of background you’d like.
There are two main options:
• Iconic views and colorful village backdrops
Have you seen photos or Instagram reels featuring colorful houses and charming narrow streets? If that’s the look you have in mind for your senior photo shoot, we recommend Manarola, Vernazza, or Riomaggiore.
• Beaches and crystal-clear water
If you love the beach and want a Mediterranean backdrop, with water ranging from clear turquoise to deep blue, Monterosso is a great choice. We can take photos at the beach near the Giant statue or around the picturesque harbor. You won’t get the same iconic hillside village backdrop you’ll find in Manarola, Vernazza, or Riomaggiore, but there’s still plenty of color!
I’d like something different for my senior photo shoot. What do you recommend?
If you love the sea and want something a little more exclusive, a private boat tour could be the perfect fit! A boat tour in Cinque Terre lets you experience the villages from a different perspective. During the summer, you can stop for a swim, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot dolphins! Along the way, we’ll stop in front of the villages for photos with their colorful waterfronts as your backdrop.
Do you recommend a senior photo shoot in Porto Venere?
Porto Venere is a spectacular location! It has a similar feel to Cinque Terre, and you can explore it by land or by boat. One thing to keep in mind is that getting there takes a little more planning. Porto Venere doesn’t have a train station, so if you’re traveling by train, you’ll need to get off at La Spezia Centrale and continue by bus or taxi. You can also reach it by car. If you’d prefer to keep travel simple, we recommend staying in Cinque Terre. If you’re happy to explore a little farther, a senior photo shoot in Porto Venere is a wonderful alternative!
How much time should I book for a senior photo shoot in Porto Venere?
Compared with Cinque Terre, our favorite photo locations in Porto Venere are spread out over a larger area, so we need a little more time to walk between them. For a senior photo shoot in Porto Venere, we require a minimum booking of one hour.
Can I book a boat tour for senior pictures in Porto Venere?
Absolutely! Arriving by private boat is a wonderful way to experience Porto Venere. With departures from La Spezia or Cinque Terre, we can take your senior pictures on the boat with the village as your backdrop, then spend some time ashore taking more photos around Porto Venere.
